About The Position
The Dispenser Service Technician (DST) position at Euclid Chemical is primarily focused on the installation and maintenance of concrete admixture dispensing equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring that the dispensing equipment operates efficiently and meets the needs of our customers. The DST will routinely call on existing admixture customers to offer services, which include conducting air checks, verifying the operation of dispensing equipment, and providing assistance with job service. The position is based in Southern California, covering a designated territory, but may require travel to other territories as needed. In this role, the technician will be responsible for all dispenser equipment in the field. This includes evaluating customer plants to determine the appropriate dispenser equipment required for specific jobs, such as assessing conduit for electrical needs, hose lengths, and the positioning of dispensers. After installation, the technician must ensure that any mess created during the visit is cleaned up and that any equipment needing removal is returned to a Euclid facility. Additionally, the technician will wash out any tanks returned to the Euclid Chemical plant, following guidance from the plant manager regarding waste products. The DST will also be responsible for completing necessary paperwork, including DOT Certifications, Expense Reports, and Daily or Weekly Reports, which must be presented professionally on Euclid Letterhead to customers. The role may involve transferring safe amounts of materials between locations, ordering and installing equipment at customer sites, and performing preventative maintenance as required. The technician must be prepared to respond to customer issues related to dispensers and ensure that their service truck is adequately stocked with the necessary parts for repairs.
