About The Position

The Dispensary Sales Associate is responsible for performing store opening and closing procedures, creating a customer-centric environment, and managing customer interactions. This role involves checking in and verifying customer profiles, maintaining confidentiality, controlling customer traffic, and educating customers about products. The associate will also create customer orders, accept payments, and stay updated on company policies and products. Additional duties may include assisting with deliveries and other tasks as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• Retail sales and/or cannabis industry experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and meet physical demands of the job.

Responsibilities

• Perform store opening and closing procedures such as cleaning, tablet placement/removal, and prepping workstations.
• Create an environment prioritizing customer service and providing excellent customer interactions.
• Check in, verify, and/or create new customer profiles upon entry to the dispensary.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality with customer information and interactions.
• Control the pace of customer traffic within the dispensary.
• Educate and assist customers in creating orders by providing product suggestions.
• Inform customers of current promotions or highlighted products.
• Create customer orders and accept payment at POS using the provided operating system.
• Keep up to date with company brands, products, policies, and procedures.
• Assist in occasional deliveries as scheduled and discussed ahead of time.
• Meet all physical requirements of the job, including lifting 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
