About The Position

The company aims to transform Texas through the power and truth of medical cannabis, working with physicians and patients to supply prescription cannabis. They are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated individual to assist with Dispensary responsibilities. The ideal candidate will work independently and as part of a team, following strict protocols for accuracy and compliance. They should be comfortable using a point-of-sale system and electronic correspondence. The Dispensary Associate represents Texas Original, requiring exceptional customer service and communication skills as they are often the first point of contact for patients. The company also encourages the associate to contribute fresh ideas for improvement to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED required
2+ years' experience in a retail, service industry or customer service role is required
Strong sense of professionalism and compassion required
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Must be able to obtain State approved credentials and pass criminal background check
Open/flexible availability is required
Ability to stand/walk for a full 8-hour shift

Responsibilities

Actively engage patients in a warm and welcoming manner, offer personalized recommendations and solutions
Handle patient issues and complaints in a proactive and professional manner with patient retention always in mind, escalating to the appropriate parties when necessary
Uphold inventory control to minimize loss by complying with all state and company inventory control procedures and vendor delivery procedures
Learn and execute point of sale systems to set up patient profiles, check patients out and deliver exceptional customer service to every patient, every time
Commit to being the Gold Standard in customer service by building and maintaining customer relationships
Gather feedback from patients and communicate any questions or concerns with the appropriate department(s)
Assist in educating potential patients on the Compassionate Use Program and how to become a Texas Original
Daily compliance with dispensary policies including but not limited to state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, inventory tracking, dress code, work schedules, and HR policies
Contribute to team environment and company advancement in alignment with Texas Original direction
Other duties as assigned
