About The Position

As a Dispensary Associate at iAnthus, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience in the cannabis industry. Your primary responsibilities will include educating patients and customers about cannabis products, ensuring compliance with legal standards, and maintaining a welcoming and organized dispensary environment. This position is integral to fostering a positive atmosphere where customers can make informed decisions about their cannabis use.

Requirements

• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must consent to a criminal background check.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a passion for delivering top-notch customer service.
• Ability to work independently, coordinate multiple tasks, and prioritize work effectively.
• Meticulous organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
• Computer-savvy, with a knack for quickly mastering new software.
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn state-specific cannabis laws and regulatory compliance.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable teaching customers about the medicinal and adult-use aspects of cannabis and conducting workshops or info sessions.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a friendly attitude to create a positive dispensary experience.
• Guide and educate patients and customers in choosing the right medicine and products, providing personalized insights into strains and effects.
• Proactively interact with customers, guiding them through product offerings and highlighting exclusive specials to increase sales opportunities.
• Accurately enter and access patient records, confirming identities and eligibility to purchase in line with legal and company standards.
• Represent the company's brand well as a brand ambassador.
• Follow and uphold the company's core values, including respect, diversity, sustainability, research, and service.
• Adhere to iAnthus' cultural principles of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
• Accurately handle transactions, receiving payments and recording purchases in the Dispensary Management System.
• Provide informative printed materials to patients and customers to help them make well-informed decisions.
• Maintain a clean and organized dispensary area and check product inventory with Dispensary Managers.
