About The Position

International Protective Service, inc. (IPS) is a locally owned and operated private security and investigations first providing service to the Albuquerque, NM community and throughout the State of NM and the Southwest United States. We are actively seeking to fill an open position for a full-time Emergency Dispatch Operator who would be available for both day and/or night shifts as needed for our 24/7 security operations. Experience is required in the private security field and/or law enforcement dispatch center operations. Candidates must have the following skills: - Clear and concise communication skills - Basic understanding of 10 codes and radio etiquette - Multi-task capabilities in a fast paced environment - Have a willingness to wear many hats as needed in a small business environment - Basic operation of computer, software navigation, copier systems, and reception desk etiquette - Ability to complete a full back ground check (credit, education, criminal) - Have reliable transportation - Quick response and great focus as needed in various situations - Have flexibility of available hours to work (We are a 24/7 operation) Basic training will include classroom time, 1 on 1 coaching and training, shadowing by senior member. Requirements

Responsibilities

Making the safety of our field officers job #1
Communication clearly over both radio and telephone to ensure our officers are safe during various emergency situations as well as the overall daily operations
Maintaining reports and logs of all daily activity including incidents that occur throughout the day
Submitting end of shift reports to all members of management and command staff
