About The Position

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for J & J Air's HVAC clients—handling incoming calls, entering appointment requests into a computer-based scheduling system, and coordinating with our HVAC service and sales teams to ensure timely and efficient response. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using scheduling and dispatch software, and have strong organizational skills to manage priorities while maintaining clear and professional communication with both clients and team members.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in dispatching, HVAC preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Data entry experience
  • Proficient in using dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of the Grand Strand area for planning dispatch routes

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule appointments efficiently via phone calls, emails and chat messages
  • Monitor dispatch schedule for booking conflicts and make needed changes
  • Respond to phone, email and chat messages promptly
  • Maintain accurate records, such as client survey phone calls and follow-up reports
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and staff
  • Utilize dispatch software to dispatch, track and manage schedules
  • Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency
