If you are requesting veteran’s preference, please include your DD214. •This position is responsible for covering a minimum of 40 hours per week covering a shift in the Telecommunications Room at Troop I. This position answers emergency 911 calls, dispatching officers, ambulances, and/or firefighters to calls for service. They take calls from other agencies that request the assistance of the State Police. They gather information from the general public that asks for information and various questions about law enforcement. They constantly monitor weather, road conditions, natural disasters and any other situations that arise. They are constantly capturing data and inputting that data into systems that provide statistics across the state.
