About The Position

As a Dispatcher for ADA Traffic Control, this position is responsible for: Scheduling and coordinating crews for scheduled jobs from Sunday to Saturday  Coordinate crews for emergency calls when they occur Assists coworkers and other dispatchers as necessary Performs geographical location spotting, map reading and provides detailed instructions to contractors and fieldworkers Support fieldworkers with any concerns that may arise and delegate appropriately as necessary Support contractors to the best of their ability Forward any new business inquiries to the Business Manager Other duties may be assigned as needed

Requirements

  • A basic concept of geography (able to read maps) and basic direction skills are required
  • Communicate effectively with others over the telephone, email or in person
  • Demonstrate effective listening skills
  • Successfully identify and resolve issues that may arise
  • Work under minimal supervision
  • Work in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Analyzing and resolving problems
  • Preparing written communications (e.g., responding to emails)
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • Experience with a call center environment

  • Fluent in English
