Location: Fort Smith Feed Mill Position: Dispatch Schedule: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour Bachoco OK Foods offers competitive wages and benefits to include but not limited to: $1/hour weekly attendance incentive. Vacation after 90-days. 2 Personal days/year after 90-days. Summary Dispatches feed to grower by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Takes calls from growers requesting feed, including type, amount and date needed. Keeps logs of each truck, including what feed is being hauled and where it is being delivered. Files copies of farm feed invoices. Keys tickets into the computer system. Weighs in trucks. Accepts calls on radio or phone from service technicians regarding farm inventories and orders. Collects samples from incoming corn trucks. Orders feed for breeder farms. Researches the inventories on breeder farms. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
