About The Position

Job Summary Assure all routes are filled and provide timely instructions and responses to requests for information throughout the day from both drivers and customers. THE RATE OF PAY FOR THIS POSITION IS $24.00 PER HOUR Job Description Responsibilities: Provides customer support by responding to questions and concerns about deliveries, including no-shows, cancellations, and scheduled deliveries. Respond to customer inquiries and needs promptly. Use computer system to retrieve schedule and asset information. Use reference material to quickly and accurately determine the best method for assigning driver resources and routes, striving for maximum efficiency and utilization while minimizing mileage when possible. Update, prepare, and dispense the daily route schedule. Monitor and document route manifests and deliveries throughout the day, adjusting for changes as needed. Make and schedule appointments with customers that require delivery appointments. Route drivers according to their skill set and available DOT-mandated Hours of Service regulations. Complete a variety of daily reports and clerical duties. Ensure that the correct departments have all necessary paperwork for on-time departure. Required Experience: Education High School Diploma Previous dispatching, routing, and/or transportation coordination experience Work Experience 2 years’ experience with handling inbound/outbound call taking, scheduling, and/or administrative work. The anticipated salary range for this position: $18.25 - $25.50 Hourly The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold. Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Previous dispatching, routing, and/or transportation coordination experience
