About The Position

The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily electrical service operations to ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality service delivery. This role serves as a critical link between customers, service technicians, and internal leadership, with a strong focus on scheduling accuracy, communication, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Proactively plan, forecast, and dispatch service calls to optimize technician utilization and response times Manage and organize customer service requests prior to deployment to Service Technicians Dispatch technicians with the appropriate skill set for each service call, minimizing unnecessary costs and reinforcing customer confidence Communicate service status updates to customers during active calls and follow up upon completion Partner closely with the Service Manager and Service Technicians to provide administrative and operational tracking support Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure prompt, responsive service for both immediate and long-term customer needs Continuously evaluate current processes and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and the customer experience Support and promote multiple service solutions in collaboration with Service Management and Technicians to drive short- and long-term business growth

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to resolve issues effectively
  • Collaborative team player capable of building trust, diffusing conflict, and holding others accountable
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in the electrical service industry
  • Prior experience in a dispatcher or service coordination role preferred
  • Proficiency with scheduling and dispatching software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite
