About The Position
Join the Sanel NAPA team as a Dispatcher and lead our Delivery Driving team to success! In this full-time position based in Newport, NH, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our delivery operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately staging orders, planning efficient delivery runs, and coordinating communications with our wholesale customers. If you're a skilled leader with a passion for customer service and safety, we want you on our team. As a Dispatcher, you will maintain high safety standards and follow all safety policies. You will be responsible for assigning Delivery Drivers for efficient and timely delivery runs, taking into account product types, customer locations, priority levels, and traffic patterns. Tracking the progress of Delivery Drivers along their routes and adjusting workloads as necessary will be key to your success in this role. You will also monitor department hours to maintain budget needs and resolve customer requests or complaints promptly and professionally. During peak delivery times, you may assist as a Delivery Driver, ensuring that all parts for delivery orders are pulled correctly and that hazardous materials are handled appropriately. You will manage customer returns and credit processing efficiently, championing and adhering to company safety rules and regulations. Completing vehicle safety checklists and sending them to Fleet Management monthly will also be part of your responsibilities. Proficiency in using NAPA Delivery Tracker software is essential, and you will assist with processing online orders and incoming phone calls as needed. This position requires a proactive approach and the ability to perform all other duties as assigned.
