Dispatcher

The Dispatcher position at the Escambia County Sheriff's Office involves receiving, recording, and routing emergency communications while dispatching appropriate personnel. The role requires participation in in-house training to prepare for work in an emergency communications dispatch center, under the guidance of experienced dispatchers. The dispatcher will handle emergency and non-emergency calls, maintain logs, and utilize a computer-aided dispatch system (CAD).
