About The Position

We’re looking for a multitasking wizard to be our next Dispatcher/Service Support Specialist – Cooking & Refrigeration in York. You’ll be the center of communication between our customers, technicians, and internal teams- keeping service requests flowing, parts moving, and work orders tight. If you love structure, know your way around a phone system, and can spot typos faster than a spellcheck, you’ll thrive here.

Requirements

• Experience in a related field, such as dispatcher or operations, especially in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. Must be 18 years or older.
• Excel at working independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in operating computers and office equipment, with a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain open and thorough communication with technicians on their routes using dispatching software.
• Create work orders, maintain billing notes, and input data into our ERP.
• Handle clerical duties like scanning, phones, and managing daily mail.
• Welcome and guide customers on repair follow-up.
• Ensure components are stored correctly in the warehouse or attached to Service Work Orders.
• Prioritize safety and follow our accident prevention procedures.
• Embrace new challenges assigned by the Branch Manager.
