Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics/dispatching.
  • Strong ability to switch tasks, communication and coordination skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to provide both internal and external customer service.
  • Highly self-motivated with strong accountability, consistency and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and work autonomously with little supervision.
  • Ability to excel in high pressure environment with short lead times.
  • Intermediate computer skills and ability to learn various systems.
  • Salaried position with hours mainly Mon-Fri, 7am-5pm.
  • Evenings and weekends will be required on a rotating schedule.
  • Manual dexterity, auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis.
  • Ability to work for extended periods of time sitting, bending, reaching, and speaking on a constant basis.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule equipment and manpower as project dictates utilizing Fleet Cost and Care software.
  • Work with leadership to plan resources for major turnarounds/projects as required.
  • Review and verify daily logs for accuracy of hours and billing, escalate to management when issues arise.
  • Assist in obtaining permits for equipment as needed.
  • Work with Operations Manager to devise and propose solutions for conflicting scheduling of assets/resources.
  • Assist DOT Compliance Officer as needed in relation to employee compliance.
  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
