If you have an interest in purchasing and logistics and a desire to learn new things then this is the position for you! We are hiring a Dispatcher IV to join the team(s). The current shift start time is 7:30am w/flexible start times as necessary. Working Monday – Friday; overtime as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED
  • 2+ years prior dispatching experience
  • Experience in shipping preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
  • DispatchTrack software experience preferred but willing to teach the right candidate
  • Well organized, strong attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism
  • Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices
  • Out of the box problem solver with a strong sense of urgency

Responsibilities

  • Communicates with drivers daily on route progress, changes, and issues
  • Works along side sales team on issues, late deliveries, amendments to route, local pickups, etc
  • Communicates with customers on delivery statuses
  • Maintain truck and route files for DOT compliance, IFTA compliance, company compliance
  • Supervise and coordinate truck maintenance with local providers
  • Maintain driver personnel files for compliance
  • Coordinate last minute additional runs via our truck or courier
