If you have an interest in purchasing and logistics and a desire to learn new things then this is the position for you! We are hiring a Dispatcher IV to join the team(s). The current shift start time is 7:30am w/flexible start times as necessary. Working Monday – Friday; overtime as required.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED
2+ years prior dispatching experience
Experience in shipping preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
DispatchTrack software experience preferred but willing to teach the right candidate
Well organized, strong attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism
Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices
Out of the box problem solver with a strong sense of urgency

Responsibilities

Communicates with drivers daily on route progress, changes, and issues
Works along side sales team on issues, late deliveries, amendments to route, local pickups, etc
Communicates with customers on delivery statuses
Maintain truck and route files for DOT compliance, IFTA compliance, company compliance
Supervise and coordinate truck maintenance with local providers
Maintain driver personnel files for compliance
Coordinate last minute additional runs via our truck or courier
