About The Position

American Residential Services is the largest provider of residential services in the US, employing more than 7000 professionals across the country. ARS has been serving its customers with HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical solutions for over 45 years since its establishment in 1975. We are seeking an experienced Dispatcher to ensure our technicians are moving in the most efficient manner, and our customers' needs are held to the highest of standards. Dispatchers can expect year-round work as we support multiple trades with multiple busy seasons.

Requirements

• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency and experience using Microsoft Products and multi-line phone systems.
• Must report daily to the office; this is not a work from home opportunity.
• Ability to work assigned shifts and weekend rotation if required.
• Knowledge of the local area.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in dispatching or a similar role.
• Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, or electrical services.

Responsibilities

• Ensure technicians are moving efficiently and customer needs are prioritized.
• Take customer information from the customer service system and relay it to employees in the field.
• Provide exceptional customer service through inbound and outbound calls.
• Assist technicians with maneuvering traffic and getting to residences in a timely manner.
