About The Position

The Dispatcher is responsible for assigning loads to drivers for timely delivery of feed to growers and assisting in feed scheduling. This role includes training drivers in procedures of loading trucks when necessary and communicating with other employees to efficiently load and dispatch feed. Additionally, the Dispatcher schedules feed deliveries to growers, completes feed delivery and inventory records, and maintains the feed scheduling system. Compliance with all company policies and local, state, and federal regulations is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 0 - 2 years' relevant experience.
• On-the-job training.
• Working knowledge of computers with a good understanding of Excel.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Dispatching loads and setting up loads.
• Managing the flow of four load outs.
• Managing drivers' hours.
• Resolving driver issues.
• Providing customer service (out of feed, etc.).
