About The Position

The Dispatcher at Resorts World Las Vegas is responsible for managing communication and coordination within the Facilities team, particularly in emergency situations. This role involves monitoring alarm systems, dispatching calls, and maintaining records related to facility operations, ensuring a high standard of service for both guests and team members.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with computers, including email, spreadsheets, and word documents.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as policy manuals and blueprints.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous alarm monitoring and/or emergency dispatch experience.
  • Previous call center experience.
  • Experience in a similar hospitality resort setting.
  • Proficiency with HotSOS.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor all emergency alarm systems and respond to alarms.
  • Receive and dispatch calls via telephone, two-way radio, and computer-aided devices.
  • Log all information regarding the disposition of calls into HotSOS and other records.
  • Notify relevant departments and agencies of emergencies.
  • Maintain records, including division activity records, labor logs, and work orders.
  • Support department team members and maintain Resort World Las Vegas standards.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
