The Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative at Loyal Towing is responsible for being the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support in the logistics and transportation sector. This role involves managing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and the use of various systems and tools.

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels in a timely and professional manner.
  • Utilize AS400, Oracle Transportation Management, and SyteLine systems to manage customer accounts and logistics data.
  • Analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions or escalate issues as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints through effective data entry practices.
  • Collaborate with transportation planning teams to coordinate deliveries and resolve logistical challenges.
  • Use GIS tools to assist in route planning and optimization for transportation management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while delivering high-quality service.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.
  • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within logistics or transportation management.
  • Familiarity with phone systems and effective communication techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and accurately.
  • Proficiency in data entry with attention to detail to maintain accurate records.
  • Experience with transportation planning tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills along with a proactive approach to resolving customer issues.
  • Experience with Oracle Transportation Management
