About The Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused Dispatcher to support our flight school operations and provide day-to-day guidance for other team members. This role involves dispatching and scheduling flights, monitoring aircraft safety, responding to customer inquiries, and maintaining a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will be professional, organized, and dedicated to providing excellent service, and must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative on various tasks
  • Strong communication skills to interact with both customers and colleagues
  • Effective problem-solving abilities to handle flight scheduling changes and customer concerns
  • Attention to detail to accurately process billing and dispatch procedures
  • Time management skills to ensure on-time departures and arrivals
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in the aviation field is preferred
  • Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using relevant software

Responsibilities

  • Providing daily guidance and coaching to team members while serving as a role model
  • Dispatching flights and checking students in/out of lessons
  • Re-scheduling flights due to maintenance, weather, and other factors
  • Ensuring daily operations comply with Kilo Charlie procedures
  • Assisting with scheduling basic maintenance events
  • Overseeing fleet safety, including coordinating with others for aircraft handling and ensuring aircraft are secured nightly
  • Billing flight reservations accurately and on time
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of facilities
  • Willing to assist with additional tasks as needed
