About The Position

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Dispatch and Switchboard Operator to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our operations by efficiently managing incoming calls, dispatching security personnel, and ensuring exceptional service to all callers. Provides directory assistance and general information as needed. Communicates codes, alerts, drills, and other announcements according to established policies and protocols, including emergency/disaster management plans. Performs proactive monitoring of and timely responses to potential/actual security threats. Operates answering service, beeper and paging systems for contacting internal/external personnel and code teams. Maintains desk directories, on-call lists, reference guides, and other associated reference materials.

Requirements

• Previous experience in dispatch, switchboard operation, office work, or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with operating a multi-line telephone system is advantageous.
• Strong grammar and spelling skills are necessary for clear communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is a plus.
