About The Position

The Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the medical communications team at RWJBarnabas Health Mobile Health. This role involves managing dispatchers who handle 9-1-1 calls, ensuring they are screened and dispatched appropriately according to established protocols. The position requires a strong background in medical dispatch and leadership skills to support the team effectively.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of medical dispatch experience
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification
• Basic Telecommunicator certification
• IAED EMD certification
• HAZMAT & CBRNE Awareness
• ICS 100, 200, 300, and 400, and NIMS 700 & 800 certifications

Nice To Haves

• Associates degree
• ACPE-SPO certification

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and support of dispatchers responsible for answering 9-1-1 and other calls.
• Screen calls according to the IAED ProQA system.
• Dispatch appropriate resources based on call assessments.
