About The Position

As a Dispatch Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly. Your day will include: Coordinating with multiple departments to resolve customer issues and ensure timely service. Handling inquiries related to missed pick-ups, misplaced containers, and property concerns. Analyzing routes and supporting drivers in the field when questions arise. Scheduling and dispatching work throughout the day to drivers and other team members. Using MS Office and proprietary systems to manage schedules, data, and reporting. Delivering exceptional customer service and promoting goodwill in every interaction. Working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while identifying opportunities for additional services.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred but not required.
  • 2+ years in dispatch within transportation or logistics preferred.
  • 2+ years in customer service.
  • Strong typing and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Professional, tactful approach when working with field personnel and customers.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred but not required.
