About The Position

Security Engineers is seeking a detail-oriented Scheduling Dispatcher to manage staffing schedules and ensure adequate coverage for client sites. This role requires strong organizational skills, clear communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Dispatcher will coordinate schedules, respond to emergencies, and maintain accurate records while working closely with internal teams and clients.

Requirements

Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation
Ability to read, write, and speak clear English
Clean background; able to obtain required certifications or licenses
Availability for first, second, and third shifts
High moral character and integrity
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong verbal, problem-solving, and follow-up skills
Ability to multitask and work independently
High degree of emotional self-control
Excellent computer skills; proficient in MS Word and Excel
Ability to sit for long periods in front of a computer
Occasionally bend/twist at waist/knees/neck
Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods

Nice To Haves

Experience with WinTeam scheduling software
Prior dispatch or scheduling experience

Responsibilities

Establish, maintain, and review staffing schedules
Match available staff to positions and communicate schedules via email, text, or phone
Minimize avoidable overtime and redeploy staff to cover call-offs
Track time-off requests to maintain site coverage
Respond to emergencies, call-offs, and absences to ensure adequate staffing
Take, log, and complete daily shift reports
Escalate significant incident reports to appropriate managers
Input schedule changes and client requests into the automated resource system
Prepare clear and professional emails and reports
Oversee camera feeds to ensure compliance and safety
