Candidates must be able to work in a high pace environment, interact with 1100+ security officers and manage their work schedules. A successful Scheduler will have strong organizational skills as well as strong communication skills for managing incoming calls and working with staff and clients. They should have a professional voice and experience working with people. Having knowledge of scheduling systems is important but can be learned on the job.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must read, write and speak English.
  • High degree of emotional self-control.
  • High moral character and integrity.
  • Must have strong verbal, problem-solving, and follow-up skills; and the ability to coordinate and perform several tasks simultaneously.
  • A highly organized and detail-oriented professional who can work independently.
  • A strong and clear writer, able to quickly and articulately prepare clear and appropriate correspondence and reports.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Knowledgeable in MS Word, and Excel, with the ability to learn programs quickly.
  • Must be a team player - works well with others; understands the role each person plays in the organization and seeks assistance when needed.
  • Must be 25 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Establishes, maintains, and reviews schedules
  • Matches available staff to posts
  • Emails, text or call to distribute schedules
  • Minimizes avoidable overtime
  • Contacts and redeploys staff to fill call-offs
  • Respond to schedule changes and client requests
  • Inputs information into automated resource system
  • Takes and logs and complete daily shifts reports
  • Camera monitoring to ensure compliance and safety
