About The Position

We are looking to add a Dispatch Representative for OPENLANE’s brand, CarsArrive. As a Dispatch Representative you will facilitate the consignment of vehicles to CarsArrive car-haulers for transport nationwide. The Dispatch Representative will have daily lists of vehicles that need to be assigned as soon as possible to CarsArrive carriers to ensure we meet our transport deadlines. Dispatchers make inbound and outbound calls to our approved carriers and match them with our available vehicles for transport. This also includes emails and other correspondence to work with carriers on scheduling vehicle pick-up and delivery dates, reviewing special instructions, and vehicle mobility status, and sometimes discussing pricing. The Dispatch Representative must create a good working relationship with carriers and make transporting with CarsArrive a rewarding experience.

Requirements

High School diploma, Associate’s Degree in Business or a related field preferred.
Conflict resolution and customer service skills required.
General automotive knowledge is required.

Nice To Haves

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Google applications.
Ability to handle heavy phone call volumes.
Must exhibit strong team player attributes with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.

Responsibilities

Answer phones and emails from carriers on a daily basis
Provide a flexible approach to customer service, and strive to exceed expectations
Learn all eligibility requirements necessary to participate in CarsArrive programs
Respond to carrier inquiries by reviewing previous inquiries and responses, gathering information, and forwarding information to carriers.
Participate in marketing campaigns, and display professional etiquette at all times
Solicit available vehicles to prospective transport companies within CarsArrive
Keep up to date with all CarsArrive procedures, products, and services
Make management aware of any price increase requests or escalated carrier issues
Work together with internal teams to provide updates on vehicles being transported, and ensure the transporters are meeting CarsArrive's expectations and requirements
