About The Position

About the Role & Program: Within the Disneyland Resort, the Architecture & Facility Engineering Services (A&FES) Division program is specially designed to develop you professionally, increase your practical knowledge in your area of technical expertise, while also completing valuable work for the Resort. You will have a wide range of opportunities to assist and provide key data to A&FES Architects and Engineers on various types of projects including Attractions, Maintenance, Foods, Merchandise and Entertainment. The approximate dates of this internship are June 2026 – December 2026. This is a full-time position, and interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship. This Internship is in Anaheim, CA. What You Will Do: Assist project Engineers – Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical, in all phases of project work, from drafting, on-site as-built documentation, design coordination with outside design consultants, field data collection, light design / production work, construction administration, power system engineering / analysis and power distribution systems, commissioning and closeout documentation for a variety of projects ranging in scope from minor rehabs to building new facilities.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated/proven strong leadership, technical and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with demonstrated initiative - able to handle multiple tasks and priorities
  • Availability to work various shifts commensurate with project requirements
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to work under deadlines, on short notice and support extended/off-hours when needed to support project or resort engineering issues
  • Currently enrolled as a Junior, Senior or Graduate student at an accredited college/university, earning a Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher (no rounding)
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
  • Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines
  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
  • Fully available Monday thru Friday, PST for the duration of the internship,40 hours each week
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Anaheim, CA area
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

Nice To Haves

  • Prior related work experience is desired, including co-op/intern programs with a focus on architecture, engineering, energy systems, energy engineering or construction
  • Experience working with AutoCAD, REVIT and/or BIM (Building Information Modeling) and/or power system engineering / analysis and power distribution systems
