About The Position

The Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Member Experience team is responsible for the Membership Extras contained within the Membership Magic benefit program. This program offers Disney Vacation Club Members unique and exclusive experiences that cannot be found anywhere else. These extras include a range of offerings such as merchandise and discount offers, exclusive events and activations, special tickets, and dedicated lounges, all aimed at making vacation dreams come true. As a DVC Member Experience Coordinator, no two days will be the same! You will assist with a variety of tasks related to strategy, planning, logistics, and execution of Membership Magic initiatives. You will report to the Member Experience Integration Manager. This is a Full-Time role.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of event/activation experience, including planning, executing, and post-event reporting
  • 2+ years of Marketing/Communications experience
  • Skilled communicator with a clear, engaging style in both speech and writing
  • Reliable and self-motivated professional who can work independently and consistently deliver results without supervision.
  • Highly organized with sharp attention to detail and a strong commitment to integrity
  • Quick to master new tools and workflows, thriving in fast-paced, ever-changing environments
  • Skilled in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines, with a strong track record in problem-solving and sound decision-making
  • Adept at managing confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including occasional weekends, holidays, and late shifts
  • Ability to move boxes and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Reliable transportation to support events
  • Valid CA Driver's License with a clean driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Disney Vacation Club and/or Disney Special Experiences, and their member events
  • Strong Guest Service, partnering, networking, and Guest Relationship skills
  • Knowledge of Disney event booking and reporting solutions, including COUPA, A la Carte, Book4Time, and Redemption App
  • Knowledge of program management and Smartsheet work management software
  • Previous event experience
  • Proven business acumen

Responsibilities

  • Drive the execution of innovative and signature events for Membership Magic, while ensuring the seamless delivery and enhancement of the Membership Extras program
  • Work together with key internal departments such as DVC Marketing, DVC Member Services, DVC Sales Operations, and DVC Internal Communications to ensure timely and accurate communication to Members and Cast
  • Partner with operational areas, including Special Events Management, Convention Services, and Resort Recreation teams to ensure seamless Member experiences
  • Create executive summaries and purchase orders
  • Coordinate the online event registration process and reporting tools
