About The Position
The Seasonal Cast Member role at Disney Store and shopDisney is a temporary assignment designed to enhance the retail experience for guests during the busy holiday season. This position will commence in late September and conclude in mid-January, providing an opportunity for individuals to engage with guests and create magical moments that align with Disney's mission of delivering exceptional customer service. As a part-time, non-exempt role, the Seasonal Cast Member is expected to embody the spirit of Disney by ensuring that every guest has 'The Best Retail Experience in the World.' This involves actively engaging with guests, understanding their needs through open-ended questions, and making tailored suggestions to enhance their shopping experience. In this dynamic and fast-paced environment, the Seasonal Cast Member will contribute to a high-energy atmosphere that is both entertaining and fun. Responsibilities include assisting guests in finding solutions that meet their needs, utilizing all available resources, including Disneystore.com, to provide comprehensive support. The role also requires maintaining Disney's brand standards in guest engagement, visual presentation, and housekeeping, ensuring that the store remains a welcoming and safe environment for all. Additionally, the Seasonal Cast Member will perform cash wrap and mobile POS duties efficiently while upholding a high level of guest service. Participation in operational tasks such as processing shipments and replenishing the sales floor is also expected, along with adherence to company policies as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures, Employee Policy Manual, and Code of Business Conduct. This role is crucial in promoting a safe working and shopping environment, making it an integral part of the Disney Store team.
