Be a part of an innovative team and culture This position will provide video support for the DX Global Public Relations teams. We produce videos for executive events, social media with a heavy emphasis on streaming content, and various channels across the parks at Walt Disney World® Resort and the Disneyland® Resort, as well as around the world. Our team produces films, lights, records audio, and edits content for our clients. This is a behind-the-camera role, not on screen. The intern will report to the Manager of Creative Services. This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in Orlando, Florida, from June 2026 through January 2027.

Requirements

  • A zeal for video production.
  • Demonstrated proficiency within a Mac environment and editing with Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Previous experience capturing video footage, motion graphics, editing, and setting up video equipment, cameras, microphones, and lighting.
  • An eye for good, quality, creative content.
  • Able to tell compelling stories through video.
  • A strong understanding of what makes good design.
  • Comfortable and confident in sharing new and creative ideas.
  • Experience working with classified and confidential information.
  • Proven self-starter with the ability to work independently and balance multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable with the physical demands of the role, which can include working outside in the elements (extreme heat and/or cold), continuously holding, carrying, and lifting up to 25 pounds of video equipment, frequent walking, standing, bending, twisting, and kneeling.
  • Able to work flexible hours – video shoots/special events could include early mornings and late-night hours, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of the Disney Experiences portfolio (Walt Disney World® Resort, Disneyland® Resort, Disney Signature Experiences, Disney Consumer Products, and more).
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university, pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College Program.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization.
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Orlando, Florida area.
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work.
  • Be aligned with The Disney Look appearance guidelines.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous internship experience in video production.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
  • Experience using cinema-grade cameras such as Sony FS7, Canon EOS C300, etc.
  • Experience creating content for YouTube.
  • Junior or Senior Pursuing a degree in Video Production, Public Affairs, Mixed Use Media, Digital Media, Graphic Arts, Marketing, or a related field of study

Responsibilities

  • Working with executives on confidential projects within the DX segment.
  • Assisting with developing and executing plans to support DX Global Public Relations video projects.
  • Participating in special events and preparing videos for social media channels, primarily Disney Parks YouTube.
  • Supporting all aspects of the production in post: system management, archiving projects, logging footage, and digitizing releases.
  • Utilizing your creative, leadership, and partnering skills to assist with executing video shoots and editing content.
  • Supporting larger video productions.
  • Managing video assets by logging, cataloging, organizing, and archiving files.
