About The Position

The Finance Intern position at Disney Entertainment Television (DE TV) offers an opportunity to engage with the Finance and Strategy group, supporting executives in making informed content production and licensing decisions across the FX, Onyx, and National Geographic brands. This role is designed for students pursuing a degree in Finance or a related field, allowing them to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world setting while contributing to the strategic planning and financial analysis that drives the company's content offerings.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
• Strong coursework in Finance, Accounting, and Business Administration.
• Intellectual curiosity and critical thinking skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Data analytics mindset and ability to handle ambiguous data.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operating plans, forecasts, and strategic plans.
• Support P&L planning, budgeting, variance, quarterly, trend, and acquisition analysis.
• Engage in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), project modeling, and variance analysis.
• Evaluate new or existing business opportunities and research industry/external trends.
• Contribute to long-term strategic planning and consolidation efforts.
• Develop executive-level presentations to communicate strategic plans and recommendations.
• Handle ad-hoc requests and reporting for the team and Senior Executives.

Benefits

• Pay rate of $22.00 per hour.
