About The Position

The Walt Disney Company's Corporate Communications department is seeking a Digital Intern to support the Disney Corporate Creative Resources (DCCR) Digital team. This intern will contribute to digital projects, including internal and external websites, email communications, and UX/UI design initiatives. Requirements

• Experience with Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript , and responsive design
• Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress
• Ability to create wireframes and mockups
• Understanding of accessibility standards
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Junior or Senior year preferred
• Major or previous coursework in C omputer Science , Web Technology , UX Design , Human-Computer Interaction , or a related field
• Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program AND returning to school the semester/quarter following the internship OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
• Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess unrestricted work authorization

Nice To Haves

• Experience in visual design , user experience , or design thinking
• Basic knowledge of video encoding software

Responsibilities

• Design event email communications and registration sites using Figma
• Contribute UX, strategy, and visual design expertise to projects
• Iterate on designs based on feedback, research, and testing
• Manage and prepare media assets and create web pages through WordPress
• Create and update events on the internal Event Registration platform
• Collaborate with development teams to bring digital products to life
• Design and code HTML emails and web pages
• Participate in the design process, including wireframing, prototyping, and visual design
