About The Position

About the Role & Program: The Walt Disney Company's Corporate Communications department is seeking a Digital Media Intern to support the Disney Corporate Creative Resources (DCCR) Digital team. This intern will contribute to digital projects, including internal and external websites, email communications, and media asset management. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Join us in shaping the future of Disney’s digital experiences! What You Will Do: As a Digital Media Intern, you will: Code HTML emails and web pages. Create and update events on the internal Event Registration platform. Manage and prepare media assets and create web pages through WordPress. Update and manage content across multiple websites, including D23.com, The Walt Disney Archives, and TheWaltDisneyCompany.com.

Requirements

  • Experience with HTML for web page and email creation.
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Experience with video encoding software.
  • Familiarity with jQuery and other JavaScript libraries.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program AND returning to school the semester/quarter following the internship OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with UX/UI design.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards.
  • Junior or Senior year preferred
  • Major or previous coursework in Web Design, Web Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
