About The Position

From toys to apparel, books to games, and much more, Disney Consumer Products (DCP) brings our company's products, through stories and characters, to markets worldwide. With a portfolio of renowned franchises including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, 20th Century Studios, and National Geographic, our efforts to deliver innovative and experiential products, designed to entertain and inspire! Join us as an intern, where you'll support our dynamic and fast-paced global hardlines business that encompasses action figures, dolls, toys, to name a few, ensuring there's never a dull moment! The intern will report to the Senior Manager, Global Hardlines. This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Glendale , California area from January 2026 through June 2026.

Requirements

  • Detailed and organized, able to balance multiple projects across a variety of franchises/brands at a time
  • A self-starter who has experience in problem-solving with creative solutions
  • Willing to take action with the ability to embrace a committed environment
  • Advanced digital literacy: Keynote and Microsoft 365, including (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Junior or Senior year preferred
  • Pursuing a degree in marketing, business, communications, or other related fields.
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university, pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College Program.
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization.
  • Fully available from Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM Pacific Time Zone for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
  • Be aligned with The Disney Look appearance guidelines
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Glendale, California, area
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

Responsibilities

  • Dive into the world of licensee and cross-functional team requests. Research and respond with agility, ensuring our partnerships flourish.
  • Attend meetings and transform discussions into actionable follow-ups. Your resourceful note-taking and agenda gathering will keep our global category team moving and informed.
  • Take charge of maintaining and updating line plans and priority product grids, ensuring our strategies are always up-to-date and ready for action.
  • Handle Box folders that contain franchise intel, license updates, regional needs, and marketing share-outs.
  • Develop and maintain licensee marketing asset repository and distribution system to keep cross-functional teams informed.
  • Act as a liaison between our team and others for approvals, ensuring timely collection of regional feedback requests, and making sure our cross-functional campaigns are compliant.
  • Collaborate with our associates to handle PR and social media requests, amplifying our brand presence.
  • Capture crucial data for business analysis, including trend research and retail shopping visits. Your insights will drive our strategies forward.
  • Provide invaluable support in the contract and amendment process when requested, making sure our partnerships are rock-solid.
  • Craft product presentations that showcase our categories in the best light possible.
  • Above all, be ready to tackle any challenge and perform other duties as assigned, helping us soar to new heights.
