As the Dishwashing Supervisor at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, you’ll oversee the staff in the stewarding department and assist in the transportation and cleaning of cooking utensils and service ware in order to provide cooks, bus persons and food servers with appropriate equipment for guests dining experience. Requirements

  • Flexible hours availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Prior stewarding or supervisory experience required; hospitality experience preferred.
  • Must obtain necessary state licenses, Serve Safe certification, and have a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work in humid, wet, and noisy environments with frequent interruptions.
  • Capable of lifting 75 pounds and transporting 150 pounds through crowded areas; able to carry 50 pounds for short distances.
  • Ability to count service ware and ensure adequate inventory for wait staff.
  • Must operate large catering trucks and pass driver authorization.
  • Ability to remain calm under stress and adapt to changing tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior stewarding or supervisory experience required; hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise stewarding department in management's absence, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Oversee proper use of chemicals and cleaning equipment.
  • Train new dishwashing staff effectively.
  • Communicate efficiently with staff and other departments.
  • Complete daily checklists and safety/sanitation inspections, delegating tasks as needed.
  • Drive resort catering truck, pickups, and golf carts on property, in city, and on highways.
  • Provide support to dishwashing and service staff when required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
