About The Position

The purpose of this position is to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the dishes, utensils, and dish washing area of the kitchen. This person will be washing dishes and utensils used in the kitchen, be responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of the dishwashers, assisting others in the kitchen with cleaning, and providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• Current Food Handler's Permit
• Must enjoy working with and handling kitchen products
• Ability to interpret policies and procedures
• Excellent organization and planning skills
• Must possess solid communication skills, including verbal and listening skills to effectively and efficiently communicate with customers and fellow associates
• Must possess the ability to accept constructive review and be accountable for one's own success as well as the success of your team
• Must possess integrity, a positive attitude, be mission-driven, and be self-directed with a demonstrated passion for Harmons' mission and commitment to working collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
• Ensures the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, utensils, and dish washing area of the kitchen
• Puts away clean dishes in their appropriate spot
• Responsible for cleaning and maintenance of the dishwashers, including periodic de-liming
• Ensures that the dish washing area is kept clean and safe for all associates
• Ensures the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards for appearance
• Delivers excellent customer service to all customers
• Receiving and stocking of product
• Assists as needed to ensure the success of the kitchen as a whole
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
