About The Position

Nothing Bundt Cakes #34 is hiring a part time Dishwasher and Bakery Assistant! This position requires good physical stamina, as you will be active and on your feet several hours at a time. Part time dishwashers will be scheduled 15-25 hours per week Monday-Saturday. Shifts times may vary but typically the hours are morning (8:30am-3pm) or midday (10am-4pm or 11am-5pm). Hours and days are flexible. Pay range is based on experience.

Requirements

• Ability to understand written and oral directions
• Ability to perform repetitious, physical tasks that require the strength to lift items of moderate to heavyweight (as much as 50 pounds)
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Discipline and attention to detail to strictly adhere to health and safety practices
• Diligent, organized and self-motivated, with the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Dishwasher or in another operational support role at a bakery, restaurant or foodservice environment

Responsibilities

• Washing all dishes, keeping all walls, floors, shelves and surfaces clean
• Assisting Baker and Froster with daily tasks and assisting other departments as needed
• Cleaning refrigerators, folding boxes, emptying trash and taking to dumpster
• Other general cleaning
