About The Position

The Dishwasher position involves washing pots, pans, dishes, and utensils, along with cleaning and maintaining floors. Responsibilities also include assisting with general cleaning and sanitation, maintaining storage areas and equipment, and potentially food preparation. The role requires a passion for customer service, a positive attitude, dependability, and effective communication within a team. Collaboration with catering, adherence to time restraints, and commitment to service values are essential, as is supporting chefs, the culinary team, and dish room operators. All employees must also adhere to Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies and procedures, actively participating in training and reporting hazards to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Wash pots, pans, dishes, and utensils
  • Clean and maintain floors
  • Assist with general cleaning and sanitation as assigned
  • Maintain storage areas and equipment as assigned
  • May be asked or trained to prep food
  • Work with catering to deliver food and assist with the setup of events
  • Work well under time restraints
  • Realize the importance of a team working environment
  • Commitment to the service values and ethics of the client managers
  • Ability to understand and follow direction from chefs and managers
  • Supporting the Chef and culinary team when needed
  • Supporting dish room operators as needed
  • Setup pot sink correctly according to HACCP practices and wash pots and pans as required, putting them away as them as directed
  • Clean or sanitize work areas, utensils, or equipment
  • Sweep and mop floors in the kitchen and service areas as required
  • Remove garbage as directed in a safe manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Must follow all safety rules and actively prevent accidents
  • Adhere to Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant work environment
  • Follow safety protocols, maintaining environmental responsibility, and upholding quality standards in all tasks
  • Actively participate in HSEQ training and report any potential hazards or compliance concerns
