About The Position

Hourly food service TEAM members are responsible for the successful daily operations of our cafeteria and catering departments.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and/or 1+ yrs in a foodservice or hospitality role is preferred, but NOT required.
• Ability to push, pull, lift or carry up to 50lbs, bend, twist, stoop and reach frequently for the duration of shift, as well as walk or stand for 8 hours on hard surfaces.
• Ability to withstand routine and repetitive work for the duration of shift.
• Ability to tolerate hot and cold temperatures for extended periods of time, while performing job functions.
• Ability to work safely and unrestricted with ware-washing and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a TEAM
• Ability to understand and carry out tasks assigned by managers

Nice To Haves

• knowledge of basic culinary and kitchen terminology is preferred
• Serve Safe or food handlers’ certification is preferred, but NOT required

Responsibilities

• Operation of ware-washing machine and three bay pot sinks
• Removal of waste and recyclables from inside the facility
• Equipment care, routine and daily cleaning duties, as assigned
• Receiving, handling and rotation of goods and inventory
• Participate in low skill/light food preparation duties, and perform other duties, as assigned.
