Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 15 pounds at a time
Nice To Haves
- Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience, preferred
- Kitchen and dining room-related experience, preferred
Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment according to food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dish room, kitchen surfaces, floors, and waste areas
- Support kitchen and dining teams by ensuring a steady supply of clean dishes and serviceware
- Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation procedures required in a senior living environment
- Assist with basic kitchen tasks such as trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and restocking supplies
- Interact respectfully and professionally with senior residents and team members when in shared spaces
- Report equipment issues, supply shortages, or safety concerns to leadership promptly
