Requirements

  • Prior experience in a kitchen, dishwashing, or porter role preferred but not required
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to work well independently, attention to quality and detail.
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Requires excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License and meet the driver safety policy requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in high-end golf/country club or hospitality industry is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Wash and properly sanitize all dishes, glassware, flatware, cookware, and kitchen tools using commercial dishwashing equipment.
  • Ensure all items are cleaned, dried, and stored in their proper locations for efficient kitchen operation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including sinks, dish machine, and surrounding surfaces.
  • Assist with receiving, unloading, and storing deliveries of food, beverages, and supplies.
  • Remove trash and recyclables from kitchen areas and dispose of them according to club procedures.
  • Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment, floors, and walls as scheduled or directed.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
  • Support kitchen and front-of-house staff by restocking clean wares as needed.
  • Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or supply needs to the supervisor or chef.
  • Assist with basic food prep or other kitchen tasks as requested during slower periods.
  • Adhere to all health department regulations and club cleanliness standards.
  • Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and contribute to the overall success of the culinary operation.
  • Additional duties as requested by Bluejack leadership.
