About The Position

The Dishwasher is a crucial part of our Kitchen Team, responsible for ensuring that all dishware, cookware, and utensils are clean, sanitized, and ready for service. This role plays a key role in maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen while supporting the team in delivering a top-tier dining experience for every guest. As a Dishwasher at Nick's, you'll work in coordination with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to keep up with the fast-paced demands of service. You'll also assist in general kitchen cleanliness, trash disposal, and equipment maintenance. Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize plates, glassware, utensils, and kitchen tools.
• Maintain a steady flow of clean dishware and cookware to support kitchen and service teams.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment, cutting boards, and prep stations remain clean and sanitary.
• Properly sort and dispose of trash, recycling, and food waste in designated areas.
• Monitor chemical levels and equipment functionality, alerting managers of any issues.
• Assist with sweeping, mopping, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness throughout each shift.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with restaurant policies.
• Work as part of a team-service approach, collaborating with colleagues to maintain a stress-free and engaging work environment.
