About The Position

Dishwasher will work to ensure the kitchen is kept well stocked with clean, sanitary dishware and cooking equipment.

Requirements

• High School degree or a combination of education and work experience in related fields, preferably in a busy cafeteria-style environment.
• Servsafe certification is required (will be provided if needed).

Responsibilities

• Work the “load” end of the dish machine during service, loading dirty dishes and pans into the dish machine.
• Monitor station during service for sanitation and cleanliness.
• Assist with afternoon prep after restocking for next day’s service.
• Sweep the dining room and servery after lunch, spot mop as needed.
• Recommend changes to improve efficiencies.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment based on Federal, State, and Local regulations; FIFO.
• Ensure all items are labeled for identification (i.e., spray bottles).
• Ownership of the station’s storage areas.
• Performs other duties as needed and assigned.
