About The Position
Parkwest Casino is looking for an experienced Dishwasher. This position will consist of dish washing duties. This person must work well with others, must be punctual and maintain a clean environment. The dishwasher is vital to back of the house operations by assisting our line cooks, prep cooks, and servers to ensure clean serving items (plates, bowls, glasses, utensils, ramekins, and other items) are always readily available. Requirements
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
- Open availability.
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test and criminal background check.
- Must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to walk, stand, and bend at neck for 6 or more hours a day.
- Position will require repetitive use of hands for the following actions; simple and power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing & pulling and reaching for entire shift.
- Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Perform dish washing duties.
- Assist line cooks, prep cooks, and servers to ensure clean serving items (plates, bowls, glasses, utensils, ramekins, and other items) are always readily available.
- Maintain cleanliness around the facility if a Janitor is not on duty.
- Learn and understand how to properly wash possible hazardous items (example: knives) before working first shift.
