About The Position

Parkwest Casino is seeking an experienced Dishwasher to perform dishwashing duties. This role is vital to back-of-house operations, assisting line cooks, prep cooks, and servers by ensuring clean serving items such as plates, bowls, glasses, utensils, and ramekins are always readily available. The ideal candidate must work well with others, be punctual, and maintain a clean environment, providing superior service in an exciting atmosphere.

Requirements

• High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
• Open availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Pass a mandatory drug test and criminal background check
• Ability to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 50 pounds
• Ability to walk, stand, and bend at neck for 6 or more hours a day
• Position will require repetitive use of hands for simple and power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing & pulling and reaching for entire shift
• Ability to work in an environment with potential exposure to excessive noise, dust, gas, flames, chemicals, and extremes in temperature, humidity or wetness
• Ability to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation

Responsibilities

• Thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal downtime and supervision
• Maintain cleanliness around the facility if a Janitor is not on duty
• Learn and understand how to properly wash possible hazardous items (example: knives) before working the first shift
• Work with a team and portray an upbeat, professional demeanor during shift
• Promote positive interactions with guests through sincere greeting and communications
