About The Position
This position is for a Dishwasher, earning $16 - $17 per hour. The role involves keeping plate ware, glassware, tableware, and cooking utensils clean and sanitized, as well as maintaining the dish machine, dish room, prep area, and equipment. The ideal candidate is tidy and committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment in the dish room and adjacent restaurant areas. Familiarity with dish machine chemicals and daily cleaning procedures is expected.
Requirements
- Familiarity with the chemicals used in the dish machine and daily cleaning procedures
- Food Handlers Card (California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, Texas, Virginia)

Responsibilities
- Sweep and mop floors, wipe down workstations, walls, and furniture, and remove trash
- Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware, and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through the dish machine
- Sort and stack clean dishes
- Carry clean dishes to cook’s line and other proper storage areas
- Change dishwater in the dish machine as required
- Wash pots, pans, and trays
- Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions
- Assemble/disassemble the dish machine
- Prepare thoroughly and strive for perfection
