We are seeking a new Dishwasher to join our team. Your role will be to maintain a clean, safe food service environment and complete all closing tasks. As a member of the Hospitality department, you will work with fellow Dishwashers, Bussers, Cooks, Servers, and report to our Executive Chef and Director of Hospitality.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to interpret and explain menu, refer or answer questions, coordinate meal service process and understand requests.
  • Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers.
  • Requires courtesy, tact and graciousness.
  • Possesses ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
  • Must use sound judgement, works well under pressure, and possess strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Remove used dishes, utensils, glasses, and other items from tables promptly after guests leave.
  • Clean and sanitize the table surface and chairs, then reset the table with clean utensils, napkins, and place settings for the next guests.
  • Promptly great residents upon arrival
  • Keep guest water glasses filled and assist servers by refilling other beverages as needed.
  • Support waitstaff by running food to tables, helping carry trays, or fetching additional items for guests.
  • Assist in the checklists at the beginning/end of each shift with the team
  • Keep dining areas, floors, and service stations clean and organized throughout the shift.
  • Maintain personal cleanliness and practice proper sanitation techniques at all times.
  • Refill napkins, silverware, condiments, and other supplies at server stations and dining areas.
  • Provide friendly, helpful interactions with guests by answering questions or getting help from a server or manager when needed.
