  • This job involves regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and a kitchen environment with fumes, airborne particles, and moderate noise. Employees must have the physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift trays, and perform repetitive tasks. Occasional exposure to wet or humid conditions, extreme temperatures, and vibration may occur. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and empty box bins and trash as needed
  • Set up and clean the 3-compartment sink per sanitation standards
  • Operate and maintain the dish machine, checking water levels and recording temperatures
  • Wash and air-dry soiled items and equipment properly
  • Sort, stack, and transport clean items to storage areas
  • Sanitize tray line, belt, stainless steel surfaces, and garbage can lids
  • Clean and re-rack floor mats; run filters through dish machine
  • Shut down, drain, and rinse dish machine thoroughly
  • Follow hygiene protocols when handling clean equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness in dish room and kitchen areas
  • Follow safety and sanitation guidelines consistently
  • Support kitchen staff as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
