About The Position

Under general supervision, the Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized efficiently. The goal is to maintain cleanliness, efficiency and customer satisfaction within the Adobe Clubhouse kitchen dishwashing operations. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or pursuing diploma.
  • Previous experience as a dishwasher in a restaurant or similar setting preferred.
  • Ability to operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration: Ability to collaborate with kitchen staff and other restaurant staff
  • Strong communication skills including effective listening.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changes in workflow, menu items, staff, etc.
  • Ability to remain calm during peak hours
  • Ability to use employee self-service on company’s human resources/payroll database
  • Position may utilize golf carts; thus, must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Unexpired Arizona food certifications. Must be at least 19 years of age.
  • Regular attendance is required. Additional hours including weekends may be required on a regular basis to fulfill duties of position. At times, an individual must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple, competing tasks and demands and to seek supervisory assistance as appropriate.

Responsibilities

  • Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment following established procedures and standards.
  • Sort and stack dirty dishes and utensils for washing, removing any food residue and debris, and ensuring that items are properly prepped and organized for efficient cleaning.
  • May be required to hand wash delicate or oversized items that cannot be cleaned in the dishwashing machine, using appropriate cleaning agents and technique’s to ensure thorough sanitation.
  • Keep the dishwashing area clean and organized at all times, including wiping down surfaces and replenishing cleaning supplies, as needed.
  • Ensure efficient dishwashing practices to help reduce downtime in the kitchen and restaurant.
  • Take out trash when needed.
  • May be scheduled to work at banquet events.
  • May assist cooks with basic food preparation tasks.
  • Participates in pre-shift meetings, taste tests, and training.
  • Conform with all safety standards and use of all appropriate safety equipment.
  • Follow good personal hygiene guidelines.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.
